Leveraging new NFT technologies to build brand equity in Dole’s meaningful purpose

Business Challenge: How can we drive awareness of Dole’s Sunshine For All CSR platform fighting food insecurity and malnutrition worldwide, and raise funds for a charity that provides food to underserved communities?

Strategy & Execution: Working in conjunction with Dole’s CMO, we created a campaign rallying around the brand’s purpose Sunshine for All™—to make nutrition available for all.

Joining forces with “The Hungry Artist” David Datuna, infamous for his Art Basel Miami viral banana eating moment, we created an NFT (non-fungible token) collection that sold out for $100K+.

The news was covered in Tech Republic, Forbes, Marketing Interactive, Campaign and more. Shortly after, Dole’s CMO was recognized as one of the world’s most influential CMO’s by Campaign and Forbes for building a positive message around Dole’s values and social impact.
