building MALIBU rv park’s digital presence to engage the next generation and drive revenue opportunities

Brief: The glamping trend is becoming ever increasingly popular post COVID-19, particularly with millennials. How do we open up the Malibu’s heritage RV Park to a new younger demographic, while continuing to engage the existing clients in order to increase occupancy - particularly during the Winter months?

Strategy & Execution: We built Malibu RV Park’s digital presence through a targeted strategy creating an Instagram channel, upgrading the website user experience, inviting social media influencers to stay and incentivizing online guest reviews.

We also vetted and enlisted Malibu RV Park on OTA (Online Travel Agents) such as HipCamp, The Dyrt and Book Outdoors to drive web traffic and occupancy, as well as revenue.

In addition, we supported on strategic discussions around brand and visual identity, as well as pricing through competitor analysis.

Through these tactics, there was an immediate uptick in occupancy during the Winter months.
