MEETING GEN-Z WOMEN WHERE THEY ARE ALREADY ENGAGING WITH BIRTH CONTROL EDUCATION
01 / THE OPPORTUNITY
Lo Loestrin Fe wanted to connect with millennial women beyond traditional pharmaceutical messaging, raising awareness of birth control options and encouraging more informed conversations with their OB/GYNs. The opportunity was to make education feel relevant to women's everyday lives, ambitions and personal choices.
02 / THE COLLABORATION
Over four years, we partnered with Allergan / AbbVie to develop 12+ campaigns that connected birth control education with women's empowerment, health and lifestyle.
From ActuallySheCan and KnowYourBirthControl to the personal storytelling platform “For Me, It Was Lo Lo,” our strategy centered women's experiences and the decisions shaping their lives. We built cultural partnerships with Tribeca Film Festival and TEDWomen, alongside a content series featuring Shay Mitchell, Madelaine Petsch and Vanessa Bayer that challenged common birth control misconceptions.
Through media relations, influencer engagement and a partnership with Barnes & Noble spanning 270 campuses, we brought the conversation to women across the country.
03 / THE IMPACT
The four-year program delivered 378+ media placements, engaged 55+ influencer partners and established a presence across 270 college campuses, bringing birth control education into more relevant cultural and lifestyle conversations.
