Dole sunshine company
TURNING A VIRAL ART MOMENT INTO A MOVEMENT AGAINST HUNGER
01 / THE OPPORTUNITY
Dole Sunshine Company wanted to bring greater visibility to its Sunshine for All™ mission, focused on addressing food insecurity and making good nutrition more accessible. The opportunity was to engage new audiences around this purpose while raising funds for communities in need.
02 / THE COLLABORATION
We partnered with David Datuna, the artist behind the infamous $120,000 banana-eating moment at Art Basel Miami, to create Take a Bite Out of Hunger — a bold intersection of contemporary art, emerging technology and social impact. Together, we launched a five-part NFT collection inspired by fruit and food insecurity, auctioned on Rarible in support of Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Working closely with Dole's CMO, we developed the creative concept, artist partnership and promotional content, including a rapid-turnaround New York production that delivered campaign assets in just five days.
03 / THE IMPACT
The NFT collection sold out, generating more than $100,000, while attracting coverage across Forbes, Campaign, TechRepublic and Marketing Interactive. The campaign brought Dole's mission into conversations spanning art, technology and social impact, demonstrating how an unexpected cultural collaboration could give a global issue new visibility.
