BREAKING BUSINESS AS USUAL TO SHOWCASE THE UNDP CLIMATE PROMISE AT THE UN HQ IN NYC

Business Challenge: Ahead of the 10-year Anniversary of the Paris Climate Agreement in 2025, how can the UNDP create a unique moment that drives awareness of the Climate Promise, showcasing the climate action already taking place on the ground?

Solution: We utilized a fresh approach to events for the UN, creatively pushing boundaries to inspire momentum to reach below 1.5 degrees by 2025.

Our role was to develop a creative concept and produced a 1.5-hour live streamed talk show event hosted by Actor Ato Essandoh - ‘Below 1.5 by 2025: THE PLAN’.

Programmed with a series of inspirational segments, including the UN Secretary General António Guterres, guests were led through the ambitious plan with actionable takeaways. A symbolic photo moment ‘IN CASE OF CLIMATE EMERGENCY BREAK GLASS’ was smashed live on stage by Achim Steiner, UNDP Administrator, and Activist Hindou Oumarou Ibrahim to take the urgent message beyond the event itself.
